Reflection

I think it made me realize how bad I am at some stuff and how good I am at other stuff. I think I did fairly well in this class. I enjoyed that you were able to choose how you could do your assignment and two different types of assignments. It was nice to have a choice to better fit the person making the decision. I found this made it a little easier for me.

Before I started any assignment I listened to Ashley’s lectures about each assignment because that always gave me a better idea on what would work best for me. Then usually before she was done talking I new what I wanted to do and started planning in my head. Then I would gather the information I needed. For the traffic proposal I interviewed my dad to help with support. I asked a lot of questions about citation as that has always been confusing to me. This class has really helped me with that.

I had some problems with run-on sentences in my assignments. Before this class I didn't even know what that was. I asked a lot of questions about it and learned how not to do those in my writing. Citation was a big deal for me. I new this before I started this class. I learned a great deal how to cite correctly and where to get the resources to help if you have questions.

I liked all the assignments I did, but the three I picked to put in the e Portfolio is the ones I had the most difficult over the memoir. I thought it would be beneficial to revise these for my learning. They helped with my run-on sentences and my citation.

I was not aware how much writing affects everything and to be able to do writing differently than just a standard essay was a way to show me different ways of writing but applying the same rules. This helped me with my learning a great deal.

I new this class would be challenging and it was, but it was also worth it because of how much I have learned about writing properly. I feel better about writing and grammar a lot more than I did two months ago.
